10. Nokia N8

Nokia - The Nokia N8 isn't as thin as some other current smartphones, but the added heft is worthwhile if you want a mobile that packs a camera of genuine class. The N8's 12-megapixel snapper has a xenon flash, so it will cope with most lighting conditions, and can also shoot high-def video. Bear in mind, however, that Nokia's new Windows Phone handsets are just around the corner. CREATED BY: MSN
9. HTC HD7
HTC - Our pick of the current crop of Windows Phone 7 mobiles (at least for now), the HTC HD7 has a huge, responsive screen and Microsoft's impressive new mobile operating system. A 'pro' version, with slide-out keyboard, can also be had. CREATED BY: MSN UK Tech & Gadgets

4. Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc
Sony Ericsson - The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is a stunner, thanks to its 4.2-inch display and wonderfully thin profile. It runs the latest version of the Android operating system and has a really excellent camera. Sony Ericsson has recently unveiled this phone's successor - the Xperia Arc S - which benefits from a faster processor for snappier performance. That one will be out soon... 2. HTC Sensation
HTC - With its snappy dual-core processor, new intuitive Sense 3.0 UI, eight-megapixel camera and full HD video recording, we reckon the HTC Sensation has got to be the best phone HTC has ever produced. Keep an eye out, however, for the HTC Sensation XE. Expected out by the end of September, it has a faster processor and music playback powered by Beats.
